Is there truth to what gender you'll have depending on when you have sex?

I've read if you have sex in the days before ovulation it's likely to be a girl, day of ovulation or after a boy. Our girl was definitely in the days before ovulation. Is this all just fiction!

Yeah it's just old wives tales.
Some say sperm carrying female DNA take longer to get to the egg than sperm carrying male DNA but there really is no way you can do anything to help choose a gender.

My husband and I's July baby boy turned 1 last Sunday and we are currently pregnant with our second and due November!.
We are over the moon as we are having a girl!.
We wanted one of each and our number for children is 2 so it's perfect for us!. :).
