I guess I’m not getting induced ??

My dr told me 2 weeks ago they’ll most likely induce me when I’m 39 weeks (38 weeks & 3 days currently) bcos I do have gestational diabetes but I just went to an ultrasound and baby is only 7 pounds!!! I am shocked at how normal her weight is bc my blood sugar numbers have been slightly higher than usual some days && I heard women who have GD do have big babies idk but I sure am glad she is thriving ☺️💕

Ultrasound can be off. With my 2nd child I had an ultrasound that said he was 7 lbs and a few oz. he was born the next day at 9 lbs 14 oz

The estimates on weight they get from ultrasound are pure estimates.  With my second the doctor estimated barely 7lbs and he ended up being 8lbs 1oz.  With my first they wouldn’t even give me an estimate because it isn’t accurate 🤷🏻‍♀️
This time the doc I have said likely 7.5-8lb full term but who knows

With my first I had a sono and he was 3 pounds the day before he was born. He was born at 6 pounds 😅🤣🤦‍♀️ I don't trust those things for Weight anymore
