Baby moves?

I’m 16 1/2 weeks. 
I’m pretty sure I should be feeling movement any day now. But I don’t think I have. 
What does it feel like? All I’ve heard is butterflies. But when I think of the feeling of butterflies in my stomach, I think of being nauseous. 
So.. when should I start to feel movement? What would you describe it as?

I have an anterior placenta and I didn’t start feeling movement until 21 weeks. It never felt like butterflies for me, it feels like someone poking you from inside or like a fish bumping into the bowl but your body is the bowl 😂

You’re still early, I didn’t start feeling anything until after 20 weeks. But it’ll start as flutters or little popcorn pops.

I didn’t feel movement until around 23-24 weeks. So, don’t panic if you don’t feel it yet.

Felt like an uncontrollable muscle twitching. Like when your eye twitches. It also felt a lot like gas bubbles but you just know it’s not gas bubbles. The gold fish comparison is also pretty accurate. Definitely feels like some sort of sea creature swimming around.

If this is your first pregnancy it could take up to 20 weeks before you feel movement. With my first I was around 17 weeks, with my second I was around 15 weeks. I would describe it as rumbling in your tummy like when your hungry but obviously not when you actually feel hungry.

It feels like little flutters/bubbles in your lower abdomen.
