Postpartum diapers or pads?

Do you guys prefer adult diapers or pads for postpartum? And if you prefer the pads, what kind of underwear did you use for them? And what brand diapers/pads?

I used the extra large huge overnight pads from always. And some bikini underwear from Hanes. I bought them a size larger than my pre pregnancy size. I felt like they worked really well.

First baby I used the giant pads in the mesh hospital from the hospital. Second I used adult diapers and they were 100x easier and more comfortable

Diapers all the way. Those mesh panties and pads don't hold in the tucks pads well and are super annoying. They are also bulkier imo. The diapers were much more comfortable and kept everything in place well while still being more discreet. I've used them every pregnancy.

Regular maxi pads from the store. I hated the huge ones and mesh underwear from the hospital.

I actually loved the mesh undies with pads. But after I ran out I started using diapers. I think I liked the mesh undies better!! I felt like I couldn’t breathe down there in the diapers. Too hot sweaty and yuck, especially with those post pardum sweats

I used the ones from the hospital until I ran out and the. Used the always overnight heavy pads. I wore my regular underwear with them. Never had to wear anything but the ones I already owned

I used the adult diapers and put an overnight pad in it for the first couple days. They’re more comfortable and gave me better peace of mind than using just underwear and a pad when I was still bleeding heavily.

I prefer the diapers. Don’t have to adjust it when you sit down or make sure it is in the right position when you shift position to breastfeed, etc. Definitely more comfortable if you have the right size, though. Had to special order mine online, couldn’t find anything small enough at the store.

I used cloth ppst partum pads and they were so cushy and soft and comfortable. And I wore massive cotton underwear for comfort on my suddenly empty belly haha
