I am 24 weeks and 5 days and and my anatomy scan at 20 weeks I was told everything was fine but I would have to go back because they couldn’t see his face. Went back, got scans of his face and was told my OB would follow up. Well I just got a call from a specialist saying I was referred to them for an ultrasound but no one told me why? I have had NIPT and everything came back normal except I’m a silent carrier for Alpha Thalassemia. Why would I need to go in after my anatomy scan??

Update: ended up being just a bright spot on his heart due to the equipment being turned up too bright. I now have my perfectly healthy baby boy and he’s 2 months old
