Posting newborn?

How do you feel about posting your newborn/child on social media? I most likely won’t for a few reasons, I just want to hear your opinions . Why or why not?

I do, my profiles are private and mostly just family and friends who I don’t get to see too often so that’s how we share news.

I will not! I’m private as a person but also I feel that sometimes even people you think that are your friends wish bad on you. I rather shield my little one from the cruel world plus it’s so easy for people to share or save your pictures on SoCal media no thanks!

Nope, social media is not the place for kids in my opinion. You never know someone truthfully. I won’t even post myself being pregnant on social media. No ones business

I don’t have social media but Nurture and I have already told everyone to not post my daughter and I have a rule for my mom and SO that when I am giving birth/when she’s just arrived here do NOT take pictures of her or I, allow me and baby to settle and allow SO and I to take pictures and show her off. We are just private people honestly. It’s just like when I told my family I was pregnant my mom had posted it on Facebook (got my permission of course) but then I started receiving all these texts and calls from family I hadn’t spoken to in YEARS and it felt like an invasion of privacy and just plain overwhelming.

I will most likely post one photo from newborn photoshoot to announce but other then that I keep my kids off all my social media’s, I rarely post photos of any sorts anymore.
