when did you start brushing your baby teeth ? my daughter is 1 with 4 teeth

As soon as they get teeth, you should be brushing with infant safe toothpaste. All of my kids got their first teeth at 5-6 months. I used Tom's of Maine toothpaste. When they are around 15 months, I start using an electric toothbrush instead of a baby toothbrush.
I switched my eldest to adult toothpaste (sensodyne with novamin) at 4. My 2 y/o has toothpaste with fluoride and my 13 month old had the fluoride free Tom's.

As soon as she gets teeth, I will brush my lo’s. In the meantime I have a finger toothbrush thing that I use to get her used to having something done, she really just chews on it and sucks it but hopefully will make it easier to start brushing teeth
