Getting induced at 39 weeks partially my decision also my midwives ( having complications and been dilated to a 5 ) have you guys been induced at 39 weeks ? How did it go ?

man id totally get induced! especially at a 5! i got induced w my first and also getting induced in a week, both electives.

I’ve been induced 2x at 39 weeks and everything went amazingly! Scheduled our induction for baby 3 for august 10th I cannot wait! Don’t be scared, there are so many horror stories!

I was just induced Monday at midnight and gave birth Tuesday at 1149 PM. I was exactly 39 weeks, 1 CM dilated and a semi soft cervix. I started on 2 mg of Pitocin and worked my way up to 36 mg by the Tuesday morning. My water broke around 7 AM. When my doctor came in she said to bump me up to 40 MG (mid afternoon). Once the Pitocin at 40 mg hit, I got an epidural which hurt but was worth it, and that kicked in within 10 minutes and I couldn’t feel a thing. So I took naps from 3 PM-9PM. I would say around 930 I started to be able to feel pressure so I was checked and I had my bloody show as well as I was fully dilated and effaced, but baby boy was not in the right position. So I laid on my side with a peanut ball for half an hour, which got him to descend into the correct position. I pushed from 10-1030, and unfortunately he head was too big for my pelvis, so we opted for a C Section ( at this point it was medically necessary). And an hour our son was born!
TLDR; My induction went pretty smoothly until the end, but that wasn’t anyone’s fault! I would do it all over again.

I’m being induced Wednesday due to low fluid and GBS…I’ll be 38 weeks on the dot. My first was considered an induction (37w4d) because they finished breaking my water (baby girl just wanted to peek out and basically poked a hole in the water bag 😅) and my contractions weren’t productive so they gave me pitocin to jump start them. It went super smoothly and from iv to baby was about 12 hours. 
I’ve been “a good 3-4cm” since 36 weeks and I’m so ready to be done being pregnant and have my girl here! Honestly kind of relieved that they’re inducing me because I don’t have to go through the panic of “is this it? Am I in labor now?” any more than I already have. 😂

Im going for an induction 1000%. Im pushing for it as soon as possible, im fucking done
