My daughter is 21 months old. She really likes this little girl who is 2 years old. Her parents told me that they believe in letting their daughter be a free spirit. They let her eat whatever she wants and go to bed whenever she wants. They don't believe in discipline. I'm however, am the opposite. My daughter is for the most part, 70% a behaved toddler. Lately when she's around this little girl, she behaves poorly. For example, she never use to hit. Now she hits, because the 2 year girl hits people. Lately I haven't had her around my daughter because of her behavior. I know that toddlers are going to be defiant at times. But I'm trying to teach my child good manners, and everything gets unlearned when my daughter is around this child. I don't know what to do. I'm a 1st time mom with a baby on the way, so any advice would be good. If her parents ask me, why I don't let them play together? What should I say? I don't want to come off rude.
