30 hours free childcare?

I’m trying to work out if we might be eligible for some hours after I finish maternity with baby number 2.
My daughter is 3 next October, so her first ‘term’ would be January and that’s when I think I’ll look to go back to work after maternity. 
Me and my partner both work full time, the gov.uk website isn’t too clear on eligibility, I don’t know if there’s an earnings limit? Neither of us are big earners but we’re both on an okay wage above NMW.

Yes as long as you or your partner doesn’t earn over £100k a year. It’s not combined income it’s individual. 30 hours is amazing 🤩

You don't get free childcare hours until they are 3 years old unless one of the following apply:

You get 30hrs free when your child turns 2 so your eligible, I have twins who turn 2 on Friday I work so I’ll get 3 days free and pay for 2 for them, so you’ll get 3 full days for your daughter you should’ve received some sort of postcard “golden ticket” you give it to the childcare provider and you get your 3 free days I received mine 3 weeks ago. Speak to your local council about it.
