How do you handle belly touches? This is my moms first grand baby and everytime I see her she is all on my belly... I know she is just excited. But like whyyyyy. Its so uncomfortable. Always been self conscious of my tummy.

I’m weird about it, I let people but I don’t really like it. Especially because I’m a big girl, it’s not just baby in there, it’s my fat. So it feels like they’re appreciating my gut instead and it’s odd.

If it’s your mother you should be able to (and can!) say no!

If someone just goes to touch my belly I tell them no and that they are only allowed to touch my belly if I ask them if they want to or in the case of the dad when o grab his hand and put it on my belly.

I don’t like it all, I just look at them like please stop. My husband moms rubs my stomach before I even get a bump and I’m like yeah let’s not do that. Now if they want to feel the baby move I’m ok with that but just walking up and rubbing my stomach for one makes me cringe cause it’s weird, you don’t just touch someone’s stomach. For two it makes me nauseous for some reason. The only ones I really allow is my nieces which are toddlers and my toddlers and husband.

I hate it. Can’t stand it. It’s so cringey to me, especially when I’m too early to even feel kicks or movement yet. I just move away when someone tries lol but I’ve always been self conscious.
