Hey mamas, any tips on how to wane down baby from bobbie?

Answer

Im still breastfeeding at 13 months but really only when he first wakes up, his one nap, and before bedtime (not for him to sleep though). If he wakes up at night i usually do cause it's quicker to get him to sleep that way. I'm gonna see how he does with self weaning up until he is 18 months, then ima start pushing it some for him to wean and try the "don't offer, dont refuse" method. If I do happen to refuse him right now (he tries pulling my shirt down when he wants it during the day) he screams but I try redirecting him with a toy or something.

We started working on the approach of ‘don’t offer, don’t refuse’ we now just have boob for bed and the rest of the day she has cows milk. I started her off slowly with a few oz’s a time and upped it as I found it was a lot in one go to give her 7/8 oz
