Birth did not go so great

I had my baby yesterday (Sunday) and it did not go as planned. He ended being an emergency c-section because his heart rate dropped to 60 and wouldn’t go up. His cord was wrapped around his neck and chest and his arms were stuck up by his head.

He’s only 6lbs9oz which I thought was normal, but is apparently very small so now he has to get his blood tested every time he eats. And he can’t get warm so he’s constantly wrapped in 3 swaddles and he has to go to the nursery when I’m sleeping so they can watch him. Thankfully, he’s able to latch on so I don’t have to supplement with formula.

I just feel like nothing went as planned for us.
