Would this be a form of racism

All throughout growing up I’ve heard many negative comments from any people about my natural hair. It got me to wonder why people were saying the things they would about my hair so I researched it and Google lead me to the knowledge of hair discrimination. In this topic I’m specifically speaking about people who are black or mixed with black and another race being discriminated by people who are white or even non white. Do you believe that hair discrimination is real? Have you experienced it or know someone who has? Still even as an adult I hear about it constantly even from other adults now; not just by another child when I was a child.
