Maternity leave
How long did you have for maternity leave and what week did you finish for it?
I’m a teacher and due to child care costs (and I want to spend as much time with my baby as possible) I’m thinking of taking a year off and finishing just before I’m 38 weeks. I have to drive for 45+ minutes to work on the motorway so depending on how it goes and how I am if there’s any problems I may finish a week earlier.
