Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease

My son had exposure at daycare last week and we thought we escaped it, but no go! This afternoon he woke up with faint spots on his feet and a few blisters on his knees, shoulders and hands. :-(

They seem to be appearing more and more by the hour. I know there is no treatment, but has anyone been through it? Anyone used Coconut oil on the rashes?

He is also suffering from a mild ear infection right now so he is pretty miserable and only wants to be near mommy. I'm terrified I'm going to catch the rash. 😬 But I simply cannot withhold the cuddles he wants so I've resigned myself to the fact that I will get it.

It's super terrifying to see, I just hope it goes quickly! 🙏🏻
