First Time Mom do I really need to take classes?

Do I really need to take classes? I’m not comfortable doing a person to person classes. Online I think I can’t learned enough so I am debating.

No. You’ll learn as you go. I think classes are pointless.

I’d recommend it. I do wish I did, cause I left the hospital thinking I was gonna murder my baby. I did figure a lot of things out but if I could do it over I would definitely do classes. I think I would have felt much better equipped leaving the hospital if I had.

I think you should. Some of the classes were really helpful when I was pregnant the first time. If they have an online option I would try that.

I didn't, but I read a bunch online and my mom was great at helping me transition (side note: A LOT of parenting things have changed since we were kids, so make sure parents/grandparents are not giving you outdated advice!)

Some people benefit, some don't. I do recommend at least asking your hospital about a consultation with a lactation nurse because it can be super beneficial

I never did it. The only reason I wish I did was to meet new moms to be and create friendships

Nope. 4 months pp & didn’t take any classes. Learn as you go! Its more fun that way lol
