So I was already on good terms with my SOS daughters mother like we are cool.

I posted the other night about how one of my SO’s friends said some insane crap to this 4 year old girl. I’ll just tell the story again. She was changing her clothes in her room and he walked by because he was looking for my so who was in the bathroom in our bedroom. Before someone starts, I am telling you nothing BAD has happened to his daughter. Something bad happened to me at her age so I’m on the verge of paranoia about her if any male other than her father is around her. It’s honestly really hurtful that someone even suggests that and gives me a lot of anxiety making me over think everything because there’s zero way that would happen. Second, I’d murder someone. I did not know she went to go change her clothes. She is 4, she’s in and out of her bedroom all the time and nobody has ever told her “you need to shut your door when you change your clothes.”

I was standing in the kitchen and watched him pass her room looking for my so and couldn’t find him so he walked back into the living room and then she came back into the living room and he looked at her and said “don’t you EVER do that the FUCK again. The FUCK is wrong with you?” Literally screaming at her and flailing himself around

I flipped out and asked him who the hell he thought he was talking to. He said “I passed her room and she was butt ass naked changing her clothes.” And I just went off about how she’s a 4 year old and this is her house and she is free to change her clothes in her own bedroom in her own house any time she pleases and that he’s the freak looking into a little girls bedroom.” And he was like “you gotta understand I am never around kids so I don’t get them and don’t get how they think.”

And I was like fuck no I’m gonna go get her dad. What kind of excuse was that? I was seeing red. The look on her face when he screamed at her like that had my stomach fucking hot like just RAGE I was about to strangle him like it was irrational but not at the same time because who the fuck walks into someone else’s house, and feels the freedom to talk to someone else’s child like that.

Her father kicked him out of the house and we explained to her that if any adult speaks to her like that she can come to her dad, mom, or me and we will handle that, and that she did nothing wrong by changing her clothes in her room and shouldn’t feel bad.

I woke up that night to her in bed with us like cuddling me and squeezing me so hard while she was asleep and had pushed so far into me that her dad was falling out of the bed. I had to pick her up and wrap her like a burrito in a blanket and put her back in her own bed so we could sleep comfortably lol. I think it’s because she was legit horrified when this man she don’t even know screamed at her like an insane person and I immediately went to her defense and that was her way of saying thank you by getting her pillow and blanket and crawling into bed with us. It also probably made her sad too poor baby. I hate being yelled at too.

She went and told her mom everything. Her vocabulary is adult like so mom got the whooolle story every detail and she came to me in person and she was like “thank you for standing up for my daughter. I think I fell in love with you a little bit when she was telling me about it because my own momma bear came out when she was telling me but you stood up for her and it made me feel so much more secure because there’s a lot of women out there who don’t care about their mans children like that and would have just said nothing. Especially women who don’t already have kids of their own they just don’t get it. I’m glad she’s protected by not only her dad but by you too and I just wanted to say thank you.”

And an update: my so is not friends with that guy anymore and he will not be coming back over. That was like the second time I had seen him and the first time his daughter wasn’t even here. She was with her mother
