Cramping!!

I was diagnosed with PCOS at 16. I’m now 23 and pregnant with my first child. I’m 6 weeks today but I’ve been having cramping. I’ve only known about my pregnancy for 5 days and usually the cramps are mild, mimicking my cycle cramps, but I was just woken out my sleep to a cramp that was very intense for about 5 minutes. No bleeding or spotting I’m just really paranoid because my first doctors appointment isn’t for another 8 days. Any mamas experience bad cramps?
