Paisleys birth story 💕✨

I was scheduled for induction on august 16th @ 8:30 am. We got to the hospital and checked in, they didn’t start my pitotin until 10:30am. ( I was 2-3cm & was 75% effaced. They started on the lowest dose and went up every half hour.. by noon my doctor came in and broke my waters. 1pm came around and they stopped the pit because the babies heart rate dropped, the doctor mentioned an emergency c section and I was terrified. The nurse checked and I was still 2-3cm just to be checked a couple seconds later and I went from 2-3 to a 6 within seconds and they think that’s why her heart rate dropped as quick as it did because she descended down more. However I caved and got the epidural because my contractions were one on top of the other and I just couldn’t do it anymore. When I went in I was against doing the epidural because I’ve been told many of things that terrified me to use it. It wasn’t bad at all, the procedure took maybe 20 mins and most of it was just him getting it set up. Life saver let me tell you. Went from 6cm to 8 cm within maybe an hour or two, by 6:45 I was feeling weird down there and went into a slight panic attack because my body felt so weird and I felt a gush of fluid even though they already broke my waters, well it was time to push, pushed 3 times & she was out. We welcomed Paisley Marie @ 7:00 pm. She weighed in @ 6 pounds 8 ounces, 18 1/2 inches long. ✨
