Not Sleeping Through the Night

My son just turned 10mo. He has never been a good sleeper, but I hoped it would improve as he got older. Lately he’s been fighting naps and bedtime, refuses to go to sleep without nursing. He wakes every 1-2 hours at night (occasionally 3) and if my husband goes in to try to soothe him he just screams louder and harder until he sees me and I take him. We got desperate enough to try to bring him into bed with us just so I could get a little sleep, but he thinks our bed means play time so we ended up back in his room. I’m not comfortable with CIO method, but I don’t think I’m going to have much of a choice.

Anyone else have a little one like this? I’m at my wits end.
