Frustrated with my doctor

So I got a positive test 8/9, OBGYN ordered a blood draw 8/10, confirmed with HCG 40 and progesterone 9.0, which they said was a little low (they want it at least 12-ish) but they didn’t seem worried

Second blood draw 8/12 came back with HCG 88 but they didn’t test progesterone even though it was a little low before, and when I asked why they didn’t test it she said my HCG doubled so they didn’t find it necessary, and that I wouldn’t be doing any more blood draws, they scheduled me for an ultrasound 8/19.

My issue is, I previously had an ectopic where my HCG doubled for quite a while, all while my progesterone was less than 1.0 and I was bleeding, so to me, the numbers doubling isn’t exactly a sure way to know if all is well.

So I found out at a lab in town (same one the doctor uses) I can pay for my own tests without doctor ordering them, so I did that today. My HCG came back at 970, but my progesterone dropped to 8.1, which obviously has me nervous. I have progesterone suppositories from a fertility clinic we had been seeing (we were on a break from treatment with them). And I’m thinking about using them.

I feel like if I ask my OBGYN, they will tell me to wait for ultrasound before using suppositories, which I understand, but also, it feels like they don’t listen to me. We have spent so much money at the fertility clinic trying to get pregnant, then it happens on its own, which I’m ecstatic about, but if this could be viable and all that I need is progesterone, I don’t want to risk it over my concerns falling on deaf ears.

What would you do?
