Can this be Baby Acne?

Hello ladies. I am a first time mom to a 3 month old and I’ve notice these small bumps on his cheeks, he also seem to have light patches. I’ve taken him to see his pediatrician and she basically said it’ll go away but I’ve been putting Vaseline on it so it doesn’t get dry. Recently I’ve notice that it spread to his neck. I have no clue what I can do to make them go away. Can someone tell me what products worked for their little one
