I reserved and paid for a shelter (covered bbq area with tables) at the local park over a month in advance because Aug fills up quick. The problem… I get there to set up and there is a FULL BLOWN party going on complete with grilling and hung decor, tons of people etc

I ask them to leave, they cuss me out and threaten to beat me up, I get called a Karen. I’m like look, my name is posted right there, I have a permit. (Long story short) Eventually they left after taking their sweet time taking things down and collecting their stuff…

Would you complain? Would you ask for your money back? Reserved time was 3-7pm, I didn’t get the space until after 5. My party wasn’t until 5 but I got there early to decorate and set up but yea my guests started to arrive and nothing was ready …

These people saw an empty shelter and decided to make themselves comfortable
