Baby blocked tear duct

I’m pretty sure that’s what this is but I’ll be taking her to doctor tomorrow to confirm. Have any of you had a baby with a blocked tear duct? How long was it like this and what did you to to help or correct it? I’ve read that the doctor won’t do much until they’re older. My mom said my sisters was blocked like this for 6 months...
