Anyone smell AF coming but still get BFP?

Question

Ok, this is going to sound SO weird and TMI, but usually a day or two before I get my period I can kind of smell it coming on—like a blood or iron smell down there. I’m 12dpo and just smelled it again and wondering if this means I’m out for the month. Anyone have this as a normal pre-AF symptom but still get a BFP? Can’t bring myself to test yet under the circumstances.

I don't have an answer for you, but my husband can smell my periods coming when the time is there too.
Now I am pregnant, but he mentioned that I have a different smell to me than normal (when not on period) and different than when it is coming..
I am hoping for you that this smell is giving you false worries and that you get your positive test soon! Keep my fingers crossed!

Well Im not knocking any smell senses. Its strange but ppl can sense and smell all kinds of things. I believe that!! On another note I can smell the snails when it rains (gross) & if there is ants on your kitchen bench or outside on a hot day like heaps, I can smell em and taste them (yuk)!! Stupid heightened senses 🙄 ppl think im strange coz I swear this is what I smell. So not cool.
