Can I take a test and get an accurate result 4-5 days before my period is due?

I got a positive test 4-5 days before my expected period. I buy the cheap tests from Amazon so it was a super light line but definitely a line.

I got a positive test in the afternoon 4 days before my period was due with my 1st son 😊 Depends when the egg implanted, your HCG levels, how dilated your urine is & how sensitive your test is. Good luck x

I didn’t know when I ovulated or when my period would exactly start, just an idea. I was set to start between Wed-Sat, tested Tuesday, negative, Wednesday BFP. Idk if this helps you any! You can always test 4 days out and then wait 2 days and retest again if your really anxious

Most likely not, common implantation is between 9-11 dpo and it takes about 2 days after for you to have enough HCG for a positive test. The most common luteal length is 14 days which would put a reliable test around 11-13 dpo. You can have outliers on either end tho. Take a test if you can’t wait but know that either way the result might not be super reliable for a couple more days 😊
