Jury duty

Does anyone know if I could be excused from doing jury duty if im a full time stay at home mom that homeschools her child? I'm suppose to get a jury duty summons today in the mail and I just can't do it since I homeschool my daughter from 8am until 4ishpm. I literally have no to help me with her either, we don't do babysitters, grandparents and friends are hours away and husband works full time. I don't even have a way to get there. We have one car and husband drives it to work at 3am. Also, what exactly do people in jury duty do? This is my first time being called. And with covid cases getting out of hand it makes me sure nervous to even do it.
