Possible to get a positive test after period?

Period stopped this past week(stopped early) it started late, I took two test and they are both positive, one is darker than the other.

It definitely wasn’t a real legit period even if it seemed like it. And not implantation if bleeding came a few days late. Likely random bleeding but should call dr and let them know to have it on record

This is exactly what happened to me, thought I had a period and by the time I realised I was pregnant I was much further along than I realised!
The problem is that the bleeding you experienced wasn’t a period, possibly implantation bleeding. In my case it was a suspected hematoma that caused me to bleed - though it couldn’t be 100% verified as by the time I had my first ultrasound it couldn’t be seen on the scan.

I'm in the same boat got my on the 17th had positive lines before I got it on the 17th and now it's the 29th and still getting positive but it's darker then last time
