How isolated are you being?

Question

I have a 4 and 2 year old and now my newborn. I'm curious how isolated are you being? Are you staying inside for 6 or more weeks being super isolated, going out some but being cautious, or living life normally? My oldest is in preschool and I feel I should pull him to keep them all safe, but I don't want to live life in fear.

My husband and I are both vaccinated so we are living a normal “newborn” life: washing hands, going to stores only when we need to, staying home from exhaustion, etc. We also have a 22 month old who goes to daycare so we are doing our best to keep her germs away from the baby but there’s only so much you can do.

You can only do so much, I would just make sure your other kids are washing their hands a lot.

I have a 5 yo, 3.5 yo, 18 month old, and 5 day old. 
Mom (autoimmune compromised) and Dad are fully vaccinated but wear masks every to support and encourage the behavior from the kids. 5 and 3.5 year old wear masks. 18 month old (if it’s absolute need to take him to the store) goes in stroller with clear rain cover over him. 5 day old stays in the car seat completely covered and as she gets bigger will go in baby carrier covered by nursing cover. 
5 year olds will start school soon, fully mask mandated.
3.5 and 18 month do go to daycare were all staff are fully vaccinated. 
Dad wears mask at work. 
Mom (prior to baby) worked remote or in office masked. 
We take them to parks, masked and sanitized. Took them to the zoo, For the most part we stay away from anything indoors. 
My husband and my first son died, so we are hyper cautious about our little ones.

I’m living my life normally, because life is short. I’m continuing to stay cautious with all of the recommendations, but it’s not limiting what I’m doing or where I am going.

I only go out to go to appointments and the store but my toddler goes to daycare for me to have a little down time and for appointments so we made it all of 2 weeks post partum before both my 23m old and 2w old had hfmd 😬tis' life

Clicked the wrong one. I don’t have my newborn yet (still pregnant) but we do take our 2 and 1 year out to open area some times.. parks and such. And we do go into the store but only to grab diapers or occasionally other things we are out of. If we can avoid touching stuff and carts.. we do at all costs. And I do our main shopping orders as delivery. We aren’t vaccinated so we social distance, wear masks, and wash our hands all the time. We try to be as safe as possible not only for ourselves but for others as well. We also don’t just go to movies, arcades, or indoor spaces for leisure activities as we again, aren’t vaccinated at this time.
