Second time mom, 38 weeks
So I had my check up today, I have gestational diabetes so I’ll be induced on September 3rd when I’ll be 39+3. Today I had them check my cervix just to find out I’m 1cm dilated, 30% effaced and -4 station. Is this common for women who’ve given birth before because our bodies don’t need much time to prepare for labor?? By this time with my son, I was 3cm dilated and 50% effaced. 😭😭
