Those who gave birth previously- would you recommend VBAC or another c section?

Those who gave birth previously- would you recommend a VBAC or another c section? I was planning to try for a vbac but after hearing all the horror stories of tearing and not recovering “down there” back to normal makes me think I should just do another c section.

If you want to know if you should repeat c-section without cause, search up what I now have and could very likely die from. Accreta. Three stages. Mine is looking like percreta on ultrasound, and what that means is my placenta is now growing through my uterus and into my bladder, hopefully not my bowel, too. 
They do not make you aware of the possible future complications due to continuous cesareans until literally the worst happens to you. Trust me, you do NOT want to experience this!! You think your vagina tearing is bad? I might end up losing part of my bowel and needing bladder reconstruction surgery after delivery if I don’t bleed to death on the table, and now have to have a hysterectomy and deliver at a specialized facility at least a month early on the other side of the state and my daughter will more than likely end up in the NICU and need her own transfusion and oxygen, and I could also end up in the ICU on a ventilator but will DEFINITELY need transfusions, and have been on complete bed and pelvic rest this entire pregnancy mostly and can hemorrhage at any moment. 
I will never again be an advocate for unnecessary c-sections. People think “it’s the easy way out”, and it’s really not. It causes damage to your body and eventually could be the death of you and your unborn child. 
Please, please, PLEASE do your research and spread awareness… It WILL save lives! The odds of getting accreta rise as c-section delivery rates do.. 💔

I had an emergency csection with my first, stopped dilating at 5cm and spiked a fever and baby’s heart rate dropped. They told me I stopped dilating most likely because she was too big for me (8lbs 13oz), this baby is already measuring 6lbs at 33 weeks so I’m opting for another csection. Doctor told me she fully supports vbacs but certain people they won’t work for, 🙋🏼‍♀️, knowing I’m having a big baby and will most likely end up in a csection anyway. Rather go in knowing I’m having one then being rushed to one.

I was induced with my 1st and ended in a c-section, because my induction/“labor” was horrendous, I opted for another c-section the 2nd time and going for a 3rd this time

I never dilated with my first so I had a csection and I will have another with this pregnancy - my doctor was supportive and said I may not dilate again so I am happy with the decision and it’s planned which I love!

Vaginal tearing or abdominal/uterine tearing?
I acted as doula for a friend attempting VBAC and it was a success. She got the baby out in a few pushes and had only the tiniest tear on her labia. No abdominal/uterine tearing.

I had a c section and a vbac. I’m having a planned c section this time. I didn’t have a bad vbac experience but I’m just not feeling great this pregnancy and there’s a lot of stuff happening with my other children and I just need the reassurance if having a date and being able to properly plan child care and my boyfriends paternity leave. I also just don’t want to go into labour at all cuz I’m seriously not a fan lol.

I’m going for a VBAC! It’s a total personal decision and also depends on why you had a C-section the first time, how many kids you want, etc. For me, VBAC was the better option!
