Would you ladies be mad?

So my son deadbeat dad doesn’t contact my son at all etc, his mom doesn’t like me I know that because she blocked me etc. anyways today is my son bday and I got Amazon box’s from her for my son bday. I foundout my mom has been talking behind my back to her . I didn’t know she’s been sending pics of my son to her or anything. I just found this out a few hours ago. I’m upset because the other grandma doesn’t have the right to have pictures of my son when she doesn’t directly contact me or ask how her grandson is doing. Am I wrong for being mad at my mom for doing that behind my back?!?!?
EDIT: I forgot to mention I tried to get along with her but when she foundout I was pregnant she refused to have her son be in the labor and delievery room until a DNA was established . She also says stuff like “ if he was my grandson”🤦🏻‍♀️🙃

The big picture here is the love, concern, and admiration of the child. If both grandmothers can communicate effectively together and it results in your son getting a birthday gift…. Whats the problem? Unless she deliberately violates or threatens the safety and wellbeing of the child u should do your beat to make sure the child has as much love and support from relatives as possible… it can also come in handy when youre in a bind. I wouldnt be mad …. Id be relieved that the two matriarchs from both sides of the family that share the childs bloodline get along and love the child

I think your mom is trying to do right by your son, which I think is commendable. You not getting along with her doesn’t mean it’s right to keep your son from her. Her relationship with him has nothing to do with her relationship with you unless she’s abusive, speaking badly about you to him etc.  If you weren’t married, it’s not unreasonable for her to have doubts about paternity. She was trying to protect her son, as you’d likely do as well. 
Also, don’t blame her for him not being there for delivery. If he wanted to be, he would have been. She clearly cares about your son, and he deserves the right to know his grandmother.

Maybe the other granny doesn't know how to reach out to you... Not physically but emotionally so she's reaching out to your mom, granny to granny.
Use this as an opportunity to reach out to her and get to know her and let her get to know you guys. She's obviously displaying an interest in his life.

What’s the harm in a picture or 2?? Your mom is looking at the bigger picture & acknowledging that your son has another grandma. It’s not that deep. Accept the gift & move on.

I would be mad also. He is your child and if he wants information about him it should be through you and what you choose to tell them. Is she saying what school he goes to, after school activities, where you live? Id be concerned that they can take him from school or on his way

I'd be furious.. she wants the title of grandma.. show off ur son but not actively be involved in his life.. it doesn't matter if u two don't get along.. a child shouldn't suffer because of that but if she isn't making any effect.. then because the trust is gone with ur mum.. she should ask ur permission to send.. so til u can trust her again.. I wouldn't send her pics either.
