This is not a post about wearing masks. I have a rant about masks though! 🤬

My 10 yr old prefers the bandana type masks with the ear loops. He prefers them because they're easier at school. He doesn't have to worry about finding a place for his mask when he takes it off to eat or during recess. He doesn't lose them and they dont get dirty and cross contaminate because he doesn't set it down anywhere. A LOT of the kids used this kind for all those same reasons. Along with them just being more comfortable for them. All year, this is what the kids used at school.

Here is a pic of the kind I'm referring to. I have about 20 of these brand new (different designs, but this is the style with the earloops.). I bought them for school.

I have a handful of the regular kind that are old and mostly shrunk now.

At my youngest's kindergarten meet and greet tonight, she said those kind are not allowed anymore. 😳 so I wasted my money on all these new cool masks. They're worthless. 😭

So I'm gonna go spend some more money on some other masks for my kids. Thank God for Amazon 2 day shipping. 🥴
