I'm so pissed off.

Back story. In May I called the University of Michigan hospital for a consultation for a breast reduction. I need it bad for health reasons. Since they accept my insurance I contacted them. Anyway, I made the appointment in May. I forgot to write down the day it was. I thought it was in September but I kept reminding myself to call but would forget by the end of the day.

Finally I called today. The receptionist says that I canceled July 1st and the appt was for Aug 6th. I'm like no I didn't. He says the note on it says patient canceled. I have not talked to the office since I made my appt. He was really nice about it and even though I was upset, I kept my cool. He thought it was the weirdest thing. I even looked at my call log and the only day that I contacted them was May 24th to set up the appt.

So now, because the doctor is only seeing patients once a week and is booked, I have to wait until March of next year to see him. I was really hoping to have my surgery this year.

How does this even happen? I'm glad I finally called because I would have never known. I was looking forward to having this done.
