Testing for pregnancy after ovulation…

Hello friends,

My boyfriend and I are trying to conceive and for the conception to turn into a successful pregnancy. This is my first time with anyone ever TTC and I am new to this whole concept and journey. My first ever end most recent ovulation date was August 28 but we have had unprotected sex multiple times and sometimes more than 1x during the day ever since the beginning of the month. When is the best time to take a pregnancy test? I have already began taking prenatal gummies and drinking fertility tea. My next period is supposed to start September 9 and I also go to the Obygyn for my 1st prenatal appointment that day but would like to know if I am pregnant before going. This appointment will be to discuss future pregnancy, his and my health conditions, and any advice she may have for TTC successfully if I am not pregnant yet. If I am pregnant we will mainly be focusing on what my pregnancy will be like because it will be a high risk pregnancy and delivery (scheduled anesthetic c-section) due to my health conditions. But mainly my questions are 1) How early before my expected period (September 9) can I test for pregnancy?2) Being that it will be a high risk pregnancy should I get health equipment such as a pulse oxometer and blood pressure cuff and if any of you have any other suggestions or advice for what to get or books to get for a high risk pregnancy I would very appreciative.
