Maybe it doesn’t make it right but depending on the situation it could make it fair 🤷🏻‍♀️ Example... a little boy at school has pushed my son several times and made him fall for absolutely no reason. He just comes up behind him and pushes him. My son tells the teachers and the teachers of course go talk to that little boy... but he continues to do it. So me and my husband sat our son down and told him if the little boy pushes him again, for my son to get up and push that little shit back. We told him even if he gets in trouble at school, he won’t be in trouble at home and he can tell the teachers my mom and dad said if he pushes me, I can push him back. Is it wrong? Yes. Does it make it right if my son pushes the kid back? No. But it makes it fair 🤷🏻‍♀️ imo...

In my personal experiences sometimes it just made things fair. Fifth grade in music class this boy was talking shit about my mom and I told him to stop. They boy continued and I slapped him. Was it wrong? Yeah but he definitely deserved it.

Depends on the situation. For example-Is killing wrong? Yes. But I think killing your child’s rapist is justifiable. Fightings wrong, but I think it’s justifiable if a kid get sick of it and beats up his bully. Like there’s always going to be a better route of justice, but sometimes people deserve what they get 🤷🏼‍♀️
