I started SSRI’s when I was 14. I’d heard that they could cause difficulty achieving orgasm in those with vaginas. Since the time I started masturbating (also about 14) it would take me, on average, an hour to achieve an orgasm. Because I had no basis for comparison (and I was a determined, horny teenager) I thought this was normal. After undergoing TMS and years of psychotherapy I’ve managed to ween off SSRI’s, and now when I masturbate I have about 3 orgasms per sesh, which is about 30 minutes. I can keep going until I exhaust myself. Internal orgasms. External orgasms. Nipple orgasms. No contact orgasms. It rocks. Very grateful for my clitoris and my mental health.
