i give birth in november and still haven’t packed anything for myself when i go into labor what are some things you mamas took that you actually used on yourself for the hospital?

Button down pajamas. Toothbrush and toothpaste and shower items. Fuzzy warm socks. Phone charger. I think that’s literally it lol the hospital provided everything I needed.

It is great you're thinking about this ahead of time! I completely slacked until the week before and well my daughter was born a week early and my contractions progressed so fast that I didn't even get to pack a bag. My husband just threw random stuff together, lol. I didn't need much, honestly a few toiletries & a change of clothes. I did bring my favorite pillow from home which helped keep me comfortable in the hospital bed. This wasn't something we packed, but I ended up needing a pair of compression socks. After delivery my feet/ankles swelled up soo badly none of my shoes fit. Button-down pajamas/tops were helpful if you're breastfeeding/pumping. In the chaos of my contractions we also forgot to pack an outfit to bring the baby home in! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Besides clothes/Toiletries, I'd recommend:
-EXTRA long phone charger (the plug in is often not close to your bed)
-Chapstick (labor dries out your lips)
-snacks (for your partner during labor, and for you after baby's born)
Otherwise, I really didn't use anything else that I packed.
