How soon after you recovered from covid did your taste and smell return? Mine has returned but things just don’t taste the same as they used to. Is this normal?

I didn't lose taste and smell at all. I have a friend who got it a year ago and they said some things still don't taste right.

Came here as Im on day 8 of no taste and these comments aren’t what I wanted to see 😂😢 I will say my husband had his back after 10 days so I’m crossing my fingers

Yeah its normal. My friend still can’t smell properly after getting it in April, when you can’t smell right it affects your tastebuds too
