Two babies and.. strollers ?

Hello 👋 I’m preparing for when we have our second baby and don’t know what to do in terms of, strollers lol. I’m being gifted a maxi cosi second hand but do I get a double stroller apart from it ? I know I know maxi cosi sells additional seating to add on but, what if I’m using the bassinet ? I don’t think I can add on the second chair that way.. Idk. I’m confused. Should I get a double stroller for days that I need a big stroller for both babies ? That way I can have one stroller for days I need just that one ? Omg I’m lost

I have a single stroller and the graco modes duo. I use the double stroller almost daily. It’s so much easier for both kids. Mine Are 17 months apart. So being able to use the click connect system was a life saver.

Our Oct baby was our second, our oldest was 2.5 when he arrived. We ended up getting a secondhand city select with 2 seats and bought a car seat adapter as well. At first we weren't sure if it would get that much use, but now my husband walks the dogs with the kids every day and even now my older son at 4.5 wants to take a break sometimes on long walks, especially during the hot summer days. Helpful for my husband so he doesn't have to carry a 4 year old while also walking a dog and pushing a stroller, heh.

I would definitely get a double stroller or find out if the Maxi Cosi can work as a double with the basinet. I don’t know how I would function with two under two without my double stroller. 😂 I have the Bob Duallie because I take them for 5+ mile walks and I like that it’s all terrain. It is a behemoth though!

I personally LOVE our Graco Duoglider.  It wasn’t terribly expensive but it has held up SO well.  We have used it multiple times a week most weeks for 2 years straight with my boys (they will be 4 in September and 2 in October).  It even fits in the tiny trunk of our Ford Focus hatchback.  When my younger one was a young baby I would sometimes just bring the single stroller and wear the baby, but once he was older they both used the double.  Sometimes I still used the double when my younger child was a baby because the infant car seat slides into the back seat when reclined (or at least the one I have - the Graco Snugride).

Also wondering… I don’t want a giant stroller but I also want to be able to have them both strapped down 😂
