For a little while due to adjusting, yes, but over time it stopped.

Weirdly we argued less. We had a stressful pregnancy and fought all the time, but after our son was born we were so at peace we probably didn't get in a single argument for the next 3 months. Even when we do argue now we're able to talk through it before it gets out of hand.

My husband & I struggled with this after our first. Now that we have our son, our second child, we are much much better at communicating. Most of it was that I felt like I was doing all the work with our child… I let him know that I was frustrated & needed help. This time around, he is helping a lot more & we communicate our needs & frustrations with each other. We also make more time for each other. That has also helped in our relationship with each other.

For a bit with our first together but not at all with our second so far.  Our first was very stressful though being premature and he was afraid to do anything with him so just…didn’t.  He’s much more helpful with the next now
