Is today the day?

I’m 38 weeks along today. Spent most of the last 18 hrs experiencing tightness in my lower abdomen whenever I walked that almost took my breath away. Then within the last 6 hrs started experiencing pins and needles in the vaginal area with a huge surge of pelvic and rectal pressure. And on top of that, breast tenderness came back which I haven’t felt in months. I have an appointment in a few hours so I’ll wait it out as this is my first pregnancy and I’m told nothing is ever speedy with the first one.
