Induction?!

Currently 37w3d. 
Has anyone had an induction scheduled for exactly 40wks? This is my first pregnancy, and everything has been perfect/normal. I don’t want to go past the 40wks, and I’ve read most first pregnancies last around 41+3 or longer. What has your experience been with your providers? What was your experience with being induced?

I’ve been induced twice and about to be a third time. With my first two I was induced at 39 weeks. It was my choice. My doc asked if I wanted to be and I said hell yes because I was miserable. Both times were fast labors and “relatively” easy. This time around I’m due on the 29th and asked to be induced on the 28th (it’s my grandmas birthday) and my doc had no problem with that so we set it up. I really think it just depends on your doctor if they’re willing to do it or not.

i’m 40W6d and they are still trying to give her time to come naturally, but i’m hoping they will schedule an induction asap. i cannot take being pregnant anymore lol
