8 months postpartum bleeding

I’m just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this. I am currently 8 months postpartum with my first baby. I had a scheduled c section due to him being breeched. I bled pretty normal after, for about 3 weeks after. I was exclusively breastfeeding and got what I believe was my period again at about 5 weeks pp. I thought that was odd since I was breastfeeding. They always tell you that you typically don’t bleed while breastfeeding. My doctor told me that it does happen and is normal. At 6 weeks pp my doctor put me on the mini pill. I then had a normal period for about 2 months. After that I would bleed for a full week, then stop, then bleed again for another full week. My doctor told me that also could be normal and put me on a low dose of birth control. I was on it for about a month and had the same result. My doctor did bloodwork and said everything was normal and put me on blood clotters for 5 days. I stopped bleeding during that time and then it started back up. My doctor put me on reg birth control and everything seemed to be fine until the last few weeks. I have been done Brest feeding for almost 2 months now and on regular birth control. 3 weeks ago I got what I thought was my normal period. I bled for 5 days, stopped for 2 days then had dark brown blood for about 3 days. It stopped for a day and then I started full on bleeding again. That went on for a few days and now for the last week I have been only bleeding in the morning to the point when I have to use a tampon. I then remove the tampon in the afternoon and don’t bleed at all, I won’t even wear a pad to bed. Everything seems fine and then I start bleeding again the next morning. The blood is now a lighter pink though. I’m feeling so dismissed by my doctor and I don’t think this is normal at all. I have an appt scheduled to get a second opinion but I could not get in for 2 weeks. Just ordering if anyone else has gone through something like this?
