Morning after pill?

Hi ladies, just a little question. Can the morning after pill make you have a late period. I'm a week late but done a pregnancy test and all negative? 
I've never taken the morning after pill before so I'm not completely sure how it works tbh.

Yes it can throw your cycle off for a few cycles...Read the leaflet that came with the medication - it tells you all this on that

Did you read the leaflet before you took it so you’d would understand the side effect and how it works? 
It will change your cycle to early or late bleeding is common
