Did you “drop” before going into labor?

Only reason I’m asking is because my doctor said she’s worried of me having a c section cause my baby won’t drop.

Literally have a pic right before my labour the same day (and days before it) and there’s no visual difference. She came out fine with no help (gas and air though) bit late too

My last 3 didn’t drop until active labor.  If baby is cephalic, do a lot of deep squats

A fear of not dropping isnt a good reason for a csection considering some babies dont engage until labor starts. Especially if it isnt your first baby

With my second I dropped right before I started pushing him out

Neither one of my first two dropped until my water broke and I was in active labor. Both came out just fine (not to mention speedy). Not dropping isn't a good reason for a c-section. Some babies just don't drop until it's time to actually come out.
