33 weeks and high protein and creatinine in my urine?
Today I go in for my appointment, 33 weeks exactly and I’m seeing a different doctor than normal. Baby has a strong heartbeat and was super active. He was kicking the Doppler and hiccuping and she says he’s great. She then tells me I have protein in my urine and she wants to be precautionary and get a set of labs and set me up a follow up appointment for Tuesday. Ok fine. My BP is 124/76 - normal for me. My protein/creatinine is .6 and my WBC is high. She calls me today and tells me that my protein/creatinine is triple what they like to see (typically a .2) she tells me Tuesday is too long to wait and they want to see me Saturday morning to recheck my BP and labs. She tells me that this is a very high number but I’m not showing any other signs of preeclampsia (no high blood pressure, no headaches that won’t go away with Tylenol, no major swelling or edema) she tells me that this is something we could potentially be induced for if it doesn’t come down by Tuesday.
Any other mommas dealt with this before or tell me if I should be worried and start packing everything for the hospital? Thanks guys. Trying to stay calm to not raise my BP but it’s really hard not to worry about my little guy.
