What should I pack?

I’m being induced Oct 2nd, what should I pack in baby boy’s diaper bag? I don’t want to overpack. My bag is packed already. TYIA 🥰

One of my RNs told me this week to be careful of bringing too many baby outfits because they have clothes there and if yours get mixed in the hospital laundry you won’t get them back. Also to leave the car seat and baby bag in the car (if you have a partner/support person) so they can go get it once you move to your recovery room. And I’m sure it’s different every where but our hospital requires either a check or money order for the birth certificate so she said to bring the check book. Also recommended a boppy if breastfeeding.

I just packed a couple sleepers in different sizes ( my hospital allows you to change them after 24 hours I believe) and 2 going home outfits also different sizes. Some socks, beanies, mittens and a blanket.

I would double check with your hospital. You can ask your doctor what they provide.
 I know most United States hospitals provide everything so all you would need is a going home outfit (I brought one newborn outfit as well as one 0 to 3 outfit in case baby is big)  and your car seat/car seat cover.

I think all you’d need is a going home outfit, and his car seat. The hospital should give you the diapers, wipes, formula, etc that he would need while you’re there

It depends what your hospital provides. But my hospital gives nothing at all (except formula), so I’ve packed the following:
-diapers and wipes
- 2 pacifiers
- 3 hats and 3 mittens
- 2 newborn outfits and 2 0-3 month outfits 
-2 Muslin swaddles (the hospital provides a blanket but I hate it for swaddling)
That’s all that’s for baby really.
