Just gonna bitch about work for a second 😂

I was asked yesterday to take either today or tomorrow off. I was going to take tomorrow, but they decided to install our new furnace and do a bunch of other stuff to our house today and they’ll probably be here all day into the evening, they have that much to do. So I called in and went ahead and took today off.

I got SO MUCH attitude about it. Told I’m “needed” at work I’m like uhh then why offer me a day off if I’m that needed? Makes zero sense to me but whatever.

I got a call back from work a few minutes ago “they won’t be there into the night. Just come in when they’re done.” Which it isn’t JUST the furnace place it’s my landlord & maintenance guy as well so they COULD be here most of the evening and my fiancé at that point will be needing help with the kids and animals to keep them corralled.

…? I’m tempted to not go at all. Don’t offer me a day if you’re gonna give me attitude when I take it.

What do y’all think I should do cause I’m heaaaated right now.
